LANSING—The Michigan Republican Convention was held the weekend of Feb. 22-24 at the Lansing Center. Over 2,000 republicans from all over the state were in attendance with a large number of youth present. Gov. Rick Snyder spoke about revamping Michigan and the importance of the youth within the party. Also, a small group of protesters braved cold temperatures to advocate for gun control.
